Alaskan Highway in Western Canada. Pilots: It didn't take long for us to abandon our perceived need to fly at higher altitudes.  In the event of an engine failure, you only have one option, i.e. landing on the road.  Although having more time to deal with that by being several thousand feet in the air would have been nice, I instead just imagined that I was always on a "long final" to the runway, and we enjoyed a much more scenic flight that way.
